Hon’ble Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Bhupender Yadav, arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, today to participate in the 16th Conference of Parties (COP16) to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). This critical event brings together global leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to address pressing environmental challenges such as land degradation, drought resilience, and the transition to green and sustainable economies.
Over the course of the next three days, Shri Yadav will articulate India’s stance and share its experiences in combating desertification and land degradation while promoting sustainable development.
